Watts, John

Watts, John

John Watts, who died in 1997, was an immensely loyal OJ who loved returning to Hurst on St. Etheldreda’s Day and at other times in the year. He was also a great supporter of the Cricket Week. He was a member of the OJ Committee for many years.
The Club was represented at the funeral by Adrian Snow (Red Cross 1958), and other OJs including John Perkins (Red Cross 1933) attended.

His widow. Faith, writes: “The service of celebration for his life was quite inspirational and very moving. The flowers were gorgeous and I could hear John’s approval and appreciation.”
