Prince, Eric Victor
Eric died on 24th September aged 80.
He was a talented musician and played a leading part in many of the school’s musical activities. He was a founder member of the Hurst Harmony Hooligans.
During World War II he served with distinction in an armoured reconnaissance unit the Derbyshire Yeomanry.
After the war he and his wife, Janet, traveled widely in show business and he later settled down in London as a musical copyist and arranger Some of his own compositions were recorded and broadcast.
After retiring, he and Janet moved to Norfolk where he took an active and cheerful part in village life.
He is survived by his wife.
