Bickmore, Michael

Michael was a member of the staff of the Junior House in the late fifties. He was a firm disciplinarian, a formidable batsman on his day and a ferociously hard-hitting squash player.

He left Hurst to become joint Headmaster of Yardley Court in Tonbridge, and moved to Scotland when he retired. He was survived by his wife Gill and his son and daughter.
